TikTokers hold back their tears with Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson ‘Jumanji’ meme
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the world’s biggest movie stars. Johnson has played all types of roles, but his character from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has become the center of a trending CapCut template.
In the meme, Johnson’s character is trying to keep his emotions in check. He repeatedly tells himself, “Don’t cry,” which is a relatable action for TikTokers facing tough situations. Created by @rott_n_chuggs, the template has over 63,000 uses.
“POV: your manager sends you a message saying ‘hey’ and they’re still typing,” wrote @work_memes.
The stress and anxiety of receiving short messages from bosses were widespread amongst TikTokers.
“‘Got a second?’ chat from my boss and I will immediately start polishing up my resume,” said @crispycoldcelery.
Gymgoers are also fighting the urge to break down crying when they can’t keep their routine the same.
“When the equipment you want is taken so you have to do your exercises out of order,” said @annalisauk.
While some people note that they’ll wait for their favorite equipment, others don’t have that kind of patience.
“I walk around like a sim and then end up on the treadmill,” replied @kaynasw.
Users are trying to hold back tears when confrontation looms.
“When someone even slightly raises their voice to me,” said @prettytragichun_.
Johnson’s place in pop culture seems ubiquitous. His famous eyebrow raise and antics from his WWE days are used in memes repeatedly, and this Jumanji template is yet another point for his internet legacy.
