While the toddler was certainly enthusiastic about the game, his execution left something to be desired. In the video, Cheryl shows the hilarious moment she finds Vinnie attempting to hide behind a broom!

The video begins with Cheryl standing outside the door to Vinnie’s bedroom. The mom is counting out loud, giving Vinnie time to find the perfect hiding spot. “9, 10,” she says. “Ready or not, here I come!”

Cheryl begins walking towards the door to Vinnie’s room. She approaches slowly, as though trying to give the toddler a little extra time to hide. Then, slowly, she pushes the door open, revealing a strip of gray carpet, a gray rocking chair, and a few wall shelves holding toys.

When the door swings all the way open, Vinnie is suddenly visible, standing in the middle of the room, holding a broom in front of him! The toddler, who is wearing a onesie decorated with colorful dinosaurs, appears to be smirking as he hides behind the broom. He looks incredibly pleased with his brilliant choice of hiding spot, even though he is very clearly visible.

With just $1,000 and one day, this Harlem bedroom gets a brand new look:

Playing along, Cheryl walks into the room, pretending she hasn’t immediately spotted her son. She pans the camera around, showing a closet stuffed with clothes, and panning over to a bed adorned with a SpongeBob Squarepants pillow and alligator sheets. “Where’s Vin?” Cheryl exclaims.

The video ends with Cheryl, still pretending she hasn’t found Vinnie, searching for the toddler under the bed.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of the toddler and his hide-and-seek attempt.

“Girl, I just hollered. Precious baby boy!” one viewer wrote.

“Oh no… I hope you found him,” joked another viewer.

“I seriously laughed out loud! Could this be any more precious? Thank you for the giggle!” commented another TikToker.

Vinnie might not have mastered the art of hide-and-seek yet, but he has certainly mastered the art of being adorable!
