The Only Way is Essex's pregnant Amy Childs has revealed she contacted the hospital over a health concern recently.

Currently expecting twins (one boy and one girl) with partner Billy Delbosq, the reality TV personality spoke to OK! ahead of her due date.

Recalling that scary experience, she told the publication: "A couple of nights ago I couldn't sleep at all. I got up around 1am and my tummy was really cramping. I've had it before, it's not like it's my first baby, but I said to Bill that something felt different.

"I rang the hospital around 3:30am and said, 'Look, I feel like I've really got a belly ache and bad belly pain,'" the former Celebrity Big Brother star continued.

"I told them that the babies were moving and really active, which was good, because what I didn't want to do was to go up to the hospital for them to check me, see that they were moving and tell me it's just Braxton Hicks.

"They say that with twins you apparently get double the contractions as such because there's two of them in there. I'm a worrier, so if the babies weren't moving I'd have definitely gone down to hospital."

At the time, Childs believed that these twinges could be signalling her babies' arrival.

"I was asking people on Instagram when they went into labour with twins, and a lot of people said around 35/36 weeks, and I'm 35 weeks on Monday," she said.

"The sensations I've been getting could be the start of early labour... My belly's dropped too."
