Hailey Bieber is a glow-y no-makeup makeup girl through and through, and one product she cannot get enough of is the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Contour Duo. We first caught a glimpse of Bieber wearing the product early last year, and now, as summer slowly approaches, we’re urgently chasing the Rhode-founder's sun-kissed look.

The Tom Ford duo is a cream-to-satin formula meant to create “flawless-looking contour.” It's also lightweight, infused with moisturizing botanical oils, and made to blend seamlessly into skin. The darker shade is used to create depth, the lighter shade is to enhance high points, and you can combine them to customize intensity. The duo can also be used as cheek color and to warm up the complexion.

Since the dewy clean girl look is something the internet cannot get enough of, I wanted to see just how Mrs. Bieber was using this product. She started off by moisturizing her skin with Rhode products. I opted for a Bioelements serum and Skin Pharm face whip, creating my own dewy palette. Bieber then went in with the Tom Ford Contour Duo on her cheekbones, forehead, and temples.

I followed by doing the same thing. From the start, I could see why Bieber loves this product. Its cream texture is so smooth and it applies perfectly. I didn’t have the specific brush Tom Ford recommends for use, but I applied the formula with my finger and it went on just as well. It also blends well, even if you’re not wearing any foundation — as Bieber and I were not.

I also applied the product across my eyelids, where it added a lot of dimension, which is something I’ve been looking for lately. I rarely want to wear an eye shadow color for day-to-day, so this serves as a perfect alternative. The formula is lightweight enough that I even forgot I had anything on my face throughout the day. I think that’s another reason Bieber wears this no-makeup makeup look.

Bieber went on to add some blush to her cheeks. For my look, I used the Glow Recipe Dewy Flush, which is basically a tinted cheek serum, then I used the Tom Ford Illuminate portion of the contour duo. Both products gelled beautifully, but I didn't see a major color note on my skin with the illuminating highlight. So if you have darker skin, I definitely suggest applying a bit more than the standard amount. I finished my look with my Benefit eyebrow gel and Neutrogena overnight lip mask.

Overall, I think Hailey Bieber is on to something with the dewy no-makeup makeup. It's light and makes me look as though I’ve just left the beach. If you’re dreaming about warmer days — or already getting to live in them — this is the ideal beauty look for reveling in that feeling.
