Another day, another meltdown from Donald Trump, the soon to be former President of the United States. This time, he issued some choice words during a press conference after a reporter (whose job it is to ask questions) asked him a question he didn't like, on whether or not he plans to concede to the President-elect, Joe Biden.
To this, Trump responded to the White House correspondent by saying, "You're just a lightweight. Don't talk to me that way! I'm the President of the United States! Don't ever talk to the President that way." He also added a few flappy hand gestures into the mix too. Yikes! Anybody else just desperate for the day that the President is somebody calm and rational?
Naturally, in true social media style, people on Twitter had plenty to say about the seemingly unnecessary clapback (which many are suggesting shows Trump is struggling to deal with his future loss of power).
The hashtag #DiaperDon also started trending, which some have speculated is the reason Trump later tweeted: "Twitter is sending out totally false 'Trends' that have absolutely nothing to do with what is really trending in the world. They make it up, and only negative 'stuff'. Same thing will happen to Twitter as is happening to @FoxNews daytime. Also, big Conservative discrimination! For purposes of National Security, Section 230 must be immediately terminated!!!"

Popular horror writer, Stephen King, pointed out, "Trump’s continued insistence that he won is scary. The President of the United States, with access to the nuclear codes, is living in a fantasy world."
Another best-selling author, Matt Haig, added, "Trump's argument that you should never criticise the President of the United States is undermined by the small fact that he spent every day criticising and spreading the racist birther theory about the previous President of the United States."
The Palmer Report commented, "I’ll always remember this as the day Donald Trump sat at a child’s desk on Thanksgiving and yelled 'Don’t talk to me that way, I’m the President of the United States' and then after everyone made fun of him for it he threatened to outlaw Twitter because he’s a joke and he lost."
Others really honed in on the tiny desk aspect of the whole debacle:

One Twitter user imagined what Trump would look like with an actual child's body, too:

Honestly, who knew a piece of furniture and thirty second tantrum could produce so many hours of fun afterwards? Actually, we probably could've guessed, given that social media also had plenty to say about Melania Trump's Christmas tree delivery this week too...
