The 2020 Golden Globes are off to a rough start for Rita Wilson.

The 63-year-old actress is meant to appear alongside her husband Tom Hanks at the 77th annual awards ceremony on Jan. 5, but unfortunately for her, things aren’t necessarily going to plan.

Wilson live-tweeted her ordeal and shared with fans that her hired hair stylist and makeup artist was more than an hour and a half late.

Ten minutes after her initial tweet, Wilson shared that she was “trying to be zen,” despite booking her glam squad back in September.

Fans responded to the situation with reactions ranging from words of encouragement to anger on Wilson’s behalf.

Never one to miss a moment on Twitter, even Chrissy Teigen got in on the action, replying to Wilson with a plea for more information.

Although there were not further updates to the “Now and Then” star’s Twitter account, it turns out that she did make it in time despite the rocky start to the evening.

As for the hair and makeup in question, Wilson rocked beachy waves and a subtle smoky eye along with a glowing complexion and peach lipstick.
