Michael Sheen returns as serial killer Martin Whitly in Prodigal Son this evening on Sky, which is back with its second and final season

Meanwhile, Emilia Fox and criminologist David Wilson look into real life murder cases that've gone cold to see if any leads were missed in the original investigations. 

It's also the semi-final of The Great British Sewing Bee as it's down to just four contestants.

Martin Lewis meets more savvy savers in the final episode of the series. 

The programmes features Dave, who is making money by switching bank accounts, as well as some DIYers who built their first home from a horse box.

Prodigal Son - 9pm - Sky One

The US drama returns for a second season as Michael Sheen reprises his role as a serial killer Martin behind bars helping out his criminal profiler son Malcolm Bright, played by Tom Payne.

Sheen's Martin Whitly is being moved to a lower security prison while the team tackle the case of the decapitated woman and her dead husband who was bricked inside a room alive. 

It's the last season of the show as its cancellation was announced last month.

The Great British Sewing Bee - 9pm - BBC One

There are just four sewers left in the competition as it moves into the semi-finals tonight. 

They travel back in time for 1940s week and prepare to make the decade's famous Oxford bags trousers. 

The Transformation Challenge sees them turn old parachutes into glamorous dresses before the final task of recreating Dior's New Look which is characterised by an exaggerated hourglass figure.

In the Footsteps of Killers - 10pm - Channel 4

Silent Witness actor Emilia Fox joins criminologist Professor David Wilson to investigate famous unsolved murder cases.

They reevaluate the cold cases, looking for potential clues missed by the original investigations. 

The first episode sees them look into the 1996 disappearance of David Spencer and Patrick Warren, two young boys from Birmingham. 

Krept and Konan: We Are England - 10.45pm - BBC One

Rappers Krept and Konan question what Englishness means today as they set about coming up with a football anthem for the Euros. 

They want to celebrate the nation's diversity and changing culture in their anthem so seek advice from England players and fellow rap artists on their journey. 

The pair also meet with England manager Gareth Southgate who tells them what elements he'd like in the song.
