"That hair extension is hating."

The coronavirus pandemic has forced fashion brands across the globe to get creative with their marketing efforts. For Givenchy, this meant producing its first-ever social media campaign, tapping influencers and models, such as Kaia Gerber and the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, to model Matthew Williams's debut lineup at home. But without a full production team, the photos weren't without their flaws.

Such was the case with Kim Kardashian's Instagram shoot. On Saturday, the reality star paired a red G-string with a low-back gown from the French label, and despite the NSFW nature of the look, it was completely overshadowed by a single hair extension that seemingly fell out of Kim's head onto the floor.

"WOW @matthewmwilliams. Congratulations on your first @givenchyofficial collection! It is such a beautiful collection. I can't wait to wear all of the looks you've sent," Kim captioned three snapshots of her embracing the exposed thong trend. Instantly, eagle-eyed fans spotted the extension in the corner of one photo, and called out the editing error on social media.

Here's just a glimpse at what Twitter had to say:

Kim's sister Khloé Kardashian even got in on the joke. "The hair on the floor is my favorite part," she wrote on Instagram, before adding another comment: "That hair extension is hating."
