Twitter goes after Donald Trump for not reciting Apostles' Creed or singing hymns at Bush funeral
During the funeral coverage for former President George H.W. Bush, viewers kept a close eye on President Donald Trump, and took to Twitter with their discoveries. In the footage, seen in many places, many saw the president allegedly not participating in hymns or the Apostles’ Creed prayer, despite the words being reportedly printed in the program he was holding.
Notice the Carters, Clintons, Obamas, and Bushes singing the hymns. Both Trumps just stare. Church ain’t their regular thing.

This is the quietest Trump has ever been! He isn’t even singing the hymns neither is Mel

Trump’s presidential predecessors, who sat alongside him and the first lady, partook in the hymns and prayers, along with their wives. Many on Twitter called out both Donald and Melania Trump for allegedly standing silently during the portion of the service.
The Trumps aren’t reading along with the Apostles’ Creed. It’s right there on the program.

Trump not reciting the Apostle’s creed is the most respectable thing he has done his entire presidency. https://t.co/C08rmzMB1p

Are you telling me the so-called “Muslim” president knew all the words to the Apostles’ Creed, but the ‘Christian Conservative’ President, did not?https://t.co/4RJCjomBSA

Others, however, sided with the president and first lady, saying they hadn’t heard of the Apostles’ Creed before and it bore no significance on their religiosity.
I am a Christ follower. I don't recite the apostles creed either. The Lord's Prayer is in the Bible. The AP is not. Simple as that.

I don't know the words to the apostles creed and have never heard of such thing. I am a servant of Almighty GOD and HE is the love of my life….then what does that make me? Be very careful who you judge…

What is an Apostles creed anyways? I’m a Christian & never heard of such.

The Apostles creed is read only in Anglican Churches. I’m Baptist and it has never been read in my Church. Evangelical churches do not use the creed. You should do your homework?
