Twitter Is Dragging Melania Trump Over the White House Christmas Tree

Remember those leaked tapes of FLOTUS bemoaning "Christmas stuff?"

As she promised, Melania Trump appears to be decorating the White House for Christmas one final time.

On Monday, she was on hand to receive the official tree at the White House, heralding in the holiday season.

“Each year the arrival of the #WHChristmas tree brings a spirit of holiday warmth & tradition to the @WhiteHouse. This year’s tree will continue to bring joy to those who will pass through the halls of the White House during this most wonderful time of the year,” she tweeted, alongside a video of the tree's arrival.

But thanks to tapes leaked this year in which she bemoaned having to care about "Christmas stuff," Twitter is having a field day with the photos and videos of the FLOTUS receiving the tree.

"I’m working my ass off at Christmas stuff," Trump said in tapes from former friend and aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, leaked in October. "You know, who gives a fuck about Christmas stuff and decoration? But I need to do it, right?"

As such, Twitter has not forgotten the viral comments.

With Donald Trump set to leave the White House, at least this is the last time Melania will have to publicly "give a fuck" about "Christmas stuff."
