A Unicorn Petting Station Made This Couple's Wedding Reception Unforgettable
Forget about unicorn blankets. There's a real unicorn in town - for a wedding in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia. Newlyweds Jody and Frank welcomed an adorable miniature pony (from The Teeny Tiny Farm) dressed as a unicorn to their wedding to wow reception guests. Mission accomplished.
The unicorn sat inside a petting station, which was definitely a high-point at the reception. The station - marked with a red fence and a beautiful calligraphic sign - sat on the outskirts of the party. Wedding-goers were able to stop by to get some loving (and a few photos) from the VIP guest, who was decked out in a golden horn and an amazing baby-blue and pink striped mane.
According to The Knot, unicorns were a special inside joke between friends and co-workers at the wedding. We may not be in on the joke, but just being able to enjoy the presence of a unicorn makes up for it.
This wedding was one for the books. Besides the totally awesome petting station, there was decadent food, delicious drinks and Pinterest-worthy decorations. Kim Moody Designs was the brains behind it all, and adorned the reception with himmeli and golden geometric accents, creating an elegant, bohemian ambiance.
Flowers added an essence of spring, and made the entire event unforgettable.
The reception even had a cotton candy stand. Um, yes please.
Although, nothing beats a live unicorn petting station - the little guy definitely made this couple's special day even more magical.
