The 72-year-old Israeli-born spoon bender has claimed he gave Johnson a spoon he had “energised” to ensure he won an overall majority and prevent Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister of the UK.
The self-proclaimed psychic appeared on This Morning showing hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsord a certificate which he said was from America’s Central Intelligence Agency [CIA] verifying his psychic abilities.
Geller said: “Before you take the mickey out of me - because I know this sounds very light-hearted - let me show you and read to you what the CIA’s conclusion is about my powers.
“This is ‘CIA... As a result of Geller’s success in this experimental period we consider that he has demonstrated his paranormal perceptual ability in a convincing and serious manner.”
When challenged by Holmes that interfering in a general election was illegal, Geller responded: “The big question is - can you prove it? Can you prove that my energy stopped Corbyn and the spoon I gave Boris Johnson made him the Prime Minister in a big way? I believe in it, but can you prove [it]?”
The illusionist and magician previously claimed he would use his telepathic powers to stop Brexit. Conservative leader Johnson’s campaign slogan throughout the election was “Get Brexit done.”
Geller told This Morning: “I believe in the powers of my mind, but for me, more important was for Boris to win in a big way to make sure Corbyn would not get anywhere near the government.”
He said: “I could not allow Corbyn to become Prime Minister, no way! And you all know why. We won’t go into that, but all the Jewish people in England know why.”
Geller was referring to allegations of anti-semitism in the Labour party.
Geller claimed on social media: “Met with Boris Johnson's team, gave him a spoon which belonged to [former Israeli Prime Minister] Golda Meir. I energised this spoon with Positive Energy as part of my strategy with the mind power of the UK public to ensure that Jeremy Corbyn did NOT end up as prime minister!
“This is no joke, this is real! My energy and the energy of the people of the UK, ensured Boris Johnson’s landslide victory, and kept Jeremy away from Number 10.
“If you don’t believe me just Google ‘Uri Geller and the CIA.’”
