Watch: Kristen Stewart light up the red carpet at Venice Film Festival
Red carpet events have been few and far between these past 18 months but the longstanding Venice Film Festival has continued, simultaneously serving us fantastic film and fashion.
Now in its 78th year, the Italian cinema celebration boasts an impressive guest line-up annually - and, so far, this edition hasn't disappointed.
Celebrities including Kristen Stewart (promoting her upcoming Princess Diana flick Spencer), Zendaya (both representing their silver screen adaption of Dune), Penélope Cruz (who stars in drama Parallel Mothers) and Dakota Johnson (one of the stars of The Lost Daughter) have already attended photocalls and walked the red carpet, showcasing their sartorial prowess in a range of ensembles from the biggest fashion houses globally.
Other style highs have included Dame Helen Mirren in an all-sequin look and Kate Hudson's red Valentino gown.
Watch this space for more fashion moments as they happen.
Dakota Johnson dressed diplomatically for a screening of The Lost Daughter in a beaded gown with fringing by Italian fashion house Gucci.
Zendaya opted for a nude dress by French fashion house Balmain for her spin on the red carpet at the 'Dune' premiere.
Kristen Stewart arrived wearing a Chanel satin and lace chemise and matching trousers for the screening of her upcoming film - the highly-anticipated Princess Diana biopic 'Spencer'.
Hollywood siblings Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal co-ordinated in monochrome looks for their red carpet moment in Venice. Maggie, in Venice to celebrate her directorial debut for the film 'The Lost Daughter', wore a black dress with billowing white sleeves while brother Jake, who attended in support of his sister, teamed a stone suit with brown shoes and a white shirt.
Kate Hudson matched the red carpet in a tulle Valentino creation from the Italian label's Resort 22 collection. The actor's stylist, Sophie Lopez, finished the look with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
Penélope Cruz made a statement at the premiere of Madres Paralelas in a two-tone Chanel dress, complete with ruffled straps, bows at the waist and feathers lining the hem.
Helen Mirren matched her sequin-covered face mask and her hairband to her pale green Dolce & Gabbana gown at the premiere of 'Madres Paralelas'.
Anya Taylor-Joy had a retro Barbie moment at the premiere of 'Last Night In Soho' in a hot pink Dior couture ensemble. Millions of pounds worth of Tiffany diamonds finished the look, which was put together by her stylist Law Roach.
