Venus Retrograde Is Giving These 2 Zodiac Signs Major Karma — for Better or Worse

After a week of astrological peace, Venus retrograde is coming to shake things up again.

Venus retrograde is set to start on March 1 and last through April 12. Unlike the last Venus retrograde in Leo during the summer of 2023, this upcoming retrograde will transit through two zodiac signs — Aries on March 1 and then Pisces on March 27.

Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE that "Venus retrograde in Aries will cause us to review how we assert ourselves in love, choose independence and pursue our heart’s desires," which can create "conflict within love and relationships."

Once Venus retrograde enters Pisces, Thomas says it will "cause us to review how we connect on a soul or karmic level in love and relationships" and we may find ourselves "reconnecting with people who have a spiritual, creative temperament — or people who cast illusions of who they truly are."

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries, major revisions are coming for you during this Venus retrograde. Thomas says when Venus retrogrades through Aries, "your entire view of love, pleasure and relationships will be entirely skewed" so it's best "not to make any big decisions around them." However, he adds that this is the best time for you to "review, reassess, and reconnect with situations or people from the past."

Once Venus retrograde enters Pisces, Thomas says "you’ll be especially reflective on the past and how you’ve approached your love life in the past eight years" and notes that "karma — for better or for worse — could be back for you to face."

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

Taurus, prepare for an intense cycle. Thomas explains that since Venus is your ruler, "you’re going to experience a more karmic period around life lessons and love, intimacy and connection."

"For the first weeks, you could be facing karma around how you’ve faced love and relationships in recent years," he says. "Your intuition will be especially active now, so pay attention to it."

Once Venus retrograde moves into Pisces, he adds that "you’ll find that you’re going to be reflecting on situations from the past — with friends, your social life or exes" and "you may be able to rekindle the flame with someone who could come back to you."

Gemini (May 20-June 20)

Gemini, this Venus retrograde may shake up your social life, especially during the first few weeks. Thomas explains that "you have a lot in your favor to reconnect or rekindle a rapport with old friends, contacts or associates." He adds that the first part of the retrograde is the perfect time to "reach out to an old pal."

However, when Venus retrograde re-enters Pisces things "will get shaken up by confusion around your ambitions, recognition and career goals." Thomas adds that "things may slow down — or you’ll be able to revise how you debut your sparkle before the world."

Cancer (June 20-July 22)

Cancer, this will be the time to take a deeper look into your goals. According to Thomas, "Venus will backtrack in your sector of career and recognition, so you may be reviewing how you reach higher up the ladder and are seen before the world."

You may want to consider "revising some of your ambitious goals and delaying projects to later months" since they may be "better received in later months." Later on, you could feel "reflective over how you pursue personal and professional goals" making it the perfect time to revisit "international relatives or revisit destinations you previously enjoyed."

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

Leo, this may be a foggy time for you. Thomas says you will be "focused on reviewing how you pursue expansion and personal growth" at the beginning of this retrograde. However, he adds that this will be a "sweeter flow for you and can be used to return to ideas, beliefs and visions you previously explored." This will also be an excellent time to "revisit old destinations you once loved."

But later on, Thomas warns "this retrograde cycle will stir the pot and cause confusion or reflection on your intimate life, assets, investments or large money matters" and you may notice significant delays.

Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

Virgo, the spotlight will be directed to your established relationships during this Venus retrograde. Thomas says that "there’s a slow-down around intimacy, assets, investments or settlements" within these relationships, and "there will be a slower vibe around them."

Later on, there will be a "focus on how you may not be seeing eye-to-eye with someone of importance" and "an ex may return — or you may be the one eager to reach out and reconnect."

Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

Libra, you will face a delay in all areas of your life since Venus is also your planetary ruler.

When Venus retrograde is in Aries, Thomas says "you may experience major revisions or reflections around established partnerships in business or love" and may find "someone from the past reaching out."

But once Venus retrogrades into Pisces, the planet will "backtrack through your sector of productivity, so situations involving your routines, responsibilities, or employment could be spiraling off in random directions or slowing down entirely," Thomas adds.

Scorpio (Oct. 22-Nov. 21)

Scorpio, prepare for a peculiar Venus retrograde. "You could find that there is confusion, delays, or need for revision around your routines, responsibilities or employment projects," Thomas says, adding that this is also a great time "to reconnect with old coworkers, employers or clients."

Later on, Venus will shake up your love life and "cause stagnation or confusion around dating matters" and you may just find old flames, hook-ups or the one that got away coming back into your life. Thomas encourages you to use this energy if you're interested in getting back together with them.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Sagittarius, this Venus retrograde may be a nostalgic time for you as Venus is backtracking in your sector of passion. Thomas notes that this energy may "make your love life feel more stagnant or gray," but it could "bring an opportunity to reignite the spark with someone at your side or from the past."

However, Thomas warns that Venus retrograde will turn its attention to your "home, family and lineage" and "confuse with your kindred." This energy may also "bring back past-life connections."

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)

Capricorn, Venus retrograde may feel chaotic especially when it comes to your family, home and your kindred.

"This energy will either have you digging through old matters that were unresolved or simply reflecting on your upbringing," Thomas explains. "If you’d like to rekindle a connection with your family, this could go in your favor."

Later on, this transit will shift the focus to "siblings, close friends and you communicate and travel," Thomas says, leading to "confusion with a sibling" and eagerness to "revisit destinations you once enjoyed."

Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

Aquarius, you will be bitten by the travel bug this Venus retrograde! Thomas says that this time will be perfect for "revisiting destinations you remember fondly, whether it's your hometown or a favorite vacation spot." You may also find yourself "hashing out situations and conversations from the past with siblings or close friends," he notes.

Later on, Thomas reveals this period will draw more attention to your income and possessions. "While money could be slowing down, it’s okay to revise your budget," he continues. "Possessions from the past could be coming also back to you—or you may have a particular desire for vintage items."

Pisces: (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

Pisces, when Venus retrograde starts, "you’ll find that you are more focused on money, income and possessions." Thomas says you may find "checks, clients or money matters could be delayed" and you may be "eager to attract vintage items."

Later on, Thomas adds "all matters surrounding beauty, love and relationships will be skewed" once Venus re-enters your sign. "You won’t be seeing any of it clearly and may deal with people or situations from the past," Thomas points out.
