File this under shit you never saw coming: Target announced Thursday that its newest design partner is Victoria Beckham, whose personal brand was built on being the fancy - excuse me - posh one.

Called Victoria Beckham for Target, the limited-edition collection will include more than 200 items for women and children and will launch April 9, 2017. It "reflects the charming, yet functional essence of the Victoria, Victoria Beckham womenswear line," according to a press release. The clothes will also take inspiration from "Beckham’s everyday life and the shared experiences between mother and child."

Doing a mass market line has apparently been on Beckham’s brain. "For a while now, I have been thinking how great it would be to work on clothes for a customer that either doesn’t want to pay or can’t pay designer prices," Beckham said in an interview with Target. "I loved the idea of opening the brand up to a wider audience and being able to share my vision with a broader customer base."

The Victoria Beckham for Target customer will be able to purchase items from $6 to $70 - a pretty steep price cut in the $1,500 midi dresses from the Victoria, Victoria Beckham line. Sizes will run from XS to 3X for women.

This is also the first time that Beckham is designing for kids. "Designing for children is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, so I was incredibly excited to be able to incorporate childrenswear into this collection," she said. "When working on it, I really felt I could tell a story and have fun with it - and I think the clothes reflect just how much fun I had designing them!"

While you wait excitedly for this collection, enjoy these recent looks from VB herself. If her personal style is informing any part of her upcoming Target designs, there’s going to be a lot to look forward to.
