Virgin Atlantic wants to help single Americans find love in London

Virgin Atlantic wants you to find your soulmate across the pond.

The airline is teaming up with Bachelor in Paradise star Jared Haibon to host the “Tickets to Love” contest this Valentine’s Day. Eight single Americans will fly to London for a chance at finding love while staying at the luxurious The Standard hotel.

According to Virgin Atlantic, 64% of Americans say they prefer dating a British person, while 72% say their dating pools would improve if they had access to prospects in other cities and countries.

Winners will fly from New York City in Virgin Atlantic’s Upper-Class cabin on Mar. 11, 2022. They’ll also have access to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at JFK Airport, where they’ll get a love reading from a psychic along with a premium dining experience.

“It’s no secret I had a little help meeting my wife, so when Virgin Atlantic asked me to help them do the same for others, I knew I couldn’t say no,” Haibon said in a statement.

He added, “Dating is hard — harder today than it’s ever been. But travel has a way of opening minds and opening hearts, so hopefully, we’re able to help change the lives of a few singles ready to finally meet their match.”

To participate, applicants must pitch their stories to Virgin Atlantic explaining why they deserve the chance to find a significant other in London. Submissions will be taken from Jan. 27 to Feb. 13, 2022.
