Vivienne Westwood has a fashion label, a climate change blog, and a commendation from the British government. Now she’s also got a boner — but at least it’s designer.

On Saturday afternoon in Paris, Westwood and her work-life partner, Andreas Kronthaler, debuted their latest collection, including 18 see-now-buy-now pieces, a metal pail worn as a top hat, and one erect penis carefully printed on “exquisitely soft and lightweight ribbed modal silk.” (Their words.) Branded as unisex and selling for $320, the Ionic Vest (again, their words) was worn by a male model as a dress and paired with cowboy boots and a swishy track jacket. And yes, the phallus was in the “right” spot.

Kronthaler’s cryptic explanation: “Everything I know, I learned from women.” Which might illuminate another see-now-buy-now offering: the Doric Dress, rendered in a common shade of nipple and sporting an “erotic nude custom print” (read: breasts and an apparently thoroughly waxed female pubic area).

Among those who witnessed the live “nude” clothes in person: adult film star François Sagat, who greeted Dame Viv backstage wearing a T-shirt featuring his own naked torso. It’s now available for $90 online, because porn stars, like fashion stars, love a see-now-buy-now moment.
