The weather's been wild all across the country lately: whether it's freezing temperatures or a full-blown blizzard, you've probably been spending a lot of time inside. You can feel a little less "cabin fever-y" when you plug into a video game, allowing you to travel to distant cities — or distant worlds — without even leaving your couch. Check out our favorite deals for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation below, and get ready for your next gaming adventure!

Still looking for a PlayStation 5? If you didn’t score one over the holidays, we’ve got a great tip for you: Walmart puts some units aside for Walmart+ customers, meaning you get first dibs if you subscribe! You get free shipping on unlimited orders of eligible merch, which can even include groceries. And you receive your goods quickly — overnight, or in some cases, the very same day. Walmart+ is only $13 a month, or $98 a year, and you get two free weeks to start. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to be out of that free trial period to access the special members-only sale, but it’s better than paying eBay prices.

In the Katamari Damacy series, you create stars (the kind in the sky) by rolling around a sticky ball that grabs everything in its path. Sound weird? Well it is, and it’s not long before you’re grabbing pets, people and even entire buildings. Normally, this crazy action game would run you $30 if purchased directly from Nintendo; right now at Walmart it’s just $15.

One player calls it a "fun, physics-based game that has the main character rolling a katamari ball over increasingly larger objects in order to create stars. [...] The controls are intentionally slightly unwieldy, but that's just part of the fun. This game is an insane riot!" This title will definitely bring some laughs.

Take your time, enjoy the beautiful detailed scenery and don't rush into a fight, and you'll love this game.” We’ll take that to heart!

Life is Strange isn’t your typical video game series. It’s a narrative adventure game that follows the turbulent story of a troubled teen, Chloe Price. It’s like a soap opera, with episodes and everything. If you like drama, this game has it in spades. Before the Storm is a prequel game to the main Life is Strange titles, taking place three years before the first game in the series. It’s good for newbies, as well as people who’d like to try out this type of game without the super-powered heroics that populate later installments. And it's only $8, a whopping 74 percent off!

This mature-rated game is quite the family affair, as the Greek-deity-battling Kratos decides to leave behind the world he knows in favor of the colder and quieter north to raise his son in peace. But that tranquility doesn’t last long when he and the kid get involved in the affairs of gods and giants, forcing this former god to pick up his ax once again. The greatest hits edition of this acclaimed title would normally run you $20 but right now it's only $10.

Players are super enthusiastic about this one: "This game has an epic story line following Kratos and his son, which magnificently intertwined with the previous God of War games. You will appreciate the graphics and character developments. You will be like a fish on a hook and will not be able to set your remote down. Buy it. Play it. Love it. Can't wait for the next one." Sounds like you're getting real bang for your buck!

This might sound a little crazy, but this role-playing game based on the crude cartoon from Comedy Central is actually really good. The city of South Park is fun to explore, the dialogue is razor-sharp and there are great items to discover. The combat is also awesome. This package even includes the first game, The Stick of Truth, as a bonus! We can't recommend South Park: The Fractured But Whole enough, and right now you can give it a shot for only $15.

Shoppers agree, with one saying "If you like the show, you'll love the game. All the characters from the show coming together for a hilarious game that's just a good time." But even if you aren't the biggest fan, The Fractured But Whole also "challenges your problem solving and analyzing skills," and "it's funny and there's so much to do!" And you don't have to wait for the next season to enjoy this adventure!

Vikings are cool, and we’re not just saying that because they live way up north! This epic title lets you live the life of a Norseman… or Norsewoman (you get to choose your gender). You can go on raids, fight vicious battles and experience a grand, sweeping saga in the Assassin’s Creed universe. But you don’t need to be familiar with the series to get started — in fact, this game is a great starting point for this immersive series, with a fun history lesson to boot!

Gamers certainly love it, with one shopper calling it “one of the best open world games I have played.” That’s because “there is so much to do in this game, so many ways to build your character, so many ways to engage in combat. The graphics are amazing and finally a game where you can play as a Viking! This game has over 100 hours of gameplay. Highly recommended!”
