Warnings in Place as Hurricane Fiona Passes Bermuda

The Bermuda Weather Service had a weather warning in place early on September 23, as Hurricane Fiona was “making its closest passage” to the island’s west.

The National Hurricane Center said large swells were expected to cause life-threatening surf and rip currents in Bermuda and farther north in the coming days.
