Watch Jennifer Garner eat a hot pepper and completely lose her cool: 'Regret! Regret! Regret!'

Hey, America’s Funniest Home Videos — we have a submission for you on behalf of Jennifer Garner.

While hanging out in her garden, the actress and green thumb showed off a little for the camera, taking an impromptu nibble of one of her homegrown treasures. But a casual nibble of a green pepper turned into a humorous water! moment.

“What do you think: Is it going to be hot?” she asks as she takes a hearty bite of a green pepper. It was as five-alarm situation, however, and she quickly spit it out. “I wish I hadn’t done that. It’s not funny,” she said in a way that anyone who has been in her shoes can relate to.

Soon she was slurping water, but the heat didn’t let up. She tried to eat something else — lettuce! — to mute the taste but it didn’t help. Moments later, she was clapping her hands while chanting, “Regret! Regret! Regret!”

There was more water — and more regret.

“Me vs. pepper,” she captioned the funny video. “Upshot: Not as cool as I thought I was. #soyouthinkyoucanfarm #regretregretregret.”

Garner’s garden is one of her happy places — and she has showed a few pics of it on her fairly new Instagram. Her photo of her scarecrows, modeled after her three children with Ben Affleck, was a memorable one.

She also showed off her chickens.

The actress, who has said she’s not ready to date after her second divorce, loves growing the food her family eats. In 2015, she told Us Weekly, “We try to grow whatever we can, although I can’t say we have the hugest crop in the world.” She added, “We talk about our food, we grow food, we talk about what goes into it. They planted it, they water it, they take pictures next to it.”

Well, another teachable moment can be this video. Sampling the garden offerings is OK, kids — but maybe there are better options than spicy peppers.
