The official list of nominations was announced on Jan. 23, and like many previous years, it includes many star-studded films and quite a few surprises.

While award-season favorites such as Lily Gladstone, Emma Stone and Cillian Murphy scored noms in the Best Actress and Best Actor categories, the Best Picture nominees include everything from Barbie to Oppenheimer.

The film starring Jeffrey Wright, Sterling K. Brown, Tracee Ellis Ross and more began a limited theatrical release on Dec. 15, 2023, before expanding it the following week. Since the film is distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, it will likely land on Prime Video, and it is currently available to purchase on demand.

Where to watch Anatomy of a Fall?

The French film from director Justine Triet is available to rent on platforms such as Prime Video, Vudu and Apple TV, however, it’s unclear which streaming platform it will eventually land on.

The Greta Gerwig-directed film starring Margot Robbie became available to stream exclusively on Max on Dec. 15, 2023. The streamer also includes special bonus features for the movie, including an ASL version from interpreter Leila Hanaumi. Additionally, the film is available to rent on platforms such as Prime Video, Vudu and Apple TV.

After its limited theatrical release in November 2023, the film starring Bradley Cooper as famed composer Leonard Bernstein began streaming on Netflix on Dec. 20, 2023.

Barbie was released at the same time as Oppenheimer, in a huge theatrical event dubbed “Barbenheimer." The Cillian Murphy-led movie was released on Peacock Feb. 16, and fans can also rent the movie on platforms such as Prime Video, Vudu and Apple TV.

The Emma Stone-led comedy movie is still playing in theaters following its Dec. 8, 2023 release. Seeing that the film is distributed by Searchlight Pictures, it will likely be available to stream on Hulu, which houses many Searchlight Pictures and 20th Century Studios films. It'll be available on digital Feb. 27.

Where to watch The Zone of Interest?

The Jonathan Glazer-directed film first hit theaters on Dec. 15 and isn’t currently available to stream, though it is available for preorder on digital. However, seeing that it's an A24 film, it will likely be available on Max at a later date.
