Your Weekly Tarotscope Is Ready
You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!
A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: THREE OF WANDS
Aries season is compounded this week with a New Moon in Aries (also a partial eclipse). Come on, astrology, give us a break! Yes, it’s all go, my friends. Action, ambition, passion, authenticity. Let your true self emerge and let that version of you make all the decisions. The Three of Wands promises that some really interesting and unexpected events will unfold, which give you a lot of new openings and opportunities to advance your true self’s desires and needs. This card is about luck, spontaneity, and acting in the moment with what’s in front of you in that moment (not what you wish were there or are trying to force to be there). Deep breath. Big week. Dive in and make magic!
ARIES: FIVE OF SWORDS
Have you noticed, Aries, how all of the memes about you project anger and rage? It's always a red-faced cartoon character or angry cat kicking off about something, right? Well, the Five of Swords is the tarot version of that meme, so I want you to be mindful, calm, and composed this week. Don’t rise to the bait, don’t add fuel to the fire, don’t get involved in pointless drama. Rise above. Step back. Seek the resolution or compromise. And if there’s none to be had then cut your losses. No drama.
TAURUS: PAGE OF PENTACLES
Back to school, Taurus! The Page of Pentacles is the tarot’s student card and always suggests that learning something is the best way to progress right now. Knowledge is power, after all. So what skill would benefit your career progression? What knowledge eludes you but would be useful? What practical ability would make life easier, cheaper, or more fun? Consider. Research the options. Act on it. Education is your new BFF this Spring.
GEMINI: TWO OF PENTACLES
This card is all about abundance and having it all, which is such a Gemini vibe. You are a living, breathing embodiment of this card. So, have it all, my friend! The more you do, the more you’ll find you can do. Abundance invites abundance. Like attracts like. So, set your vibration to ‘gimme’ and let the Universe bring you opportunities, options, new energy and ideas, fresh faces, and interesting outings and invitations. You’re always in demand because you’re warm and likable, but this week will take it new levels.
CANCER: THE MOON
You are ruled by the moon, so to receive The Moon tarot card is a sign of great importance this week. There is a secret about to be revealed. An illusion to be dispelled. An unanswered question to be firmly and finally answered. Pay attention. This is your cat nip, Cancer, as you have a nose for untruths and facades. You can smell falsity. And getting to the bottom of something, seeing what lies beneath, peeing under the hood is your idea of a good time. The info you receive will be important too, and it will influence a decision you’re about to make. So, hang fire until you’re enlightened.
LEO: THE HIEROPHANT
The Hierophant invites you up to C-suite. You’re about to rise to your full potential and to occupy the leadership position, role, or mentality you’re born for. All Leos have a regal authority, all Leos feel comfortable taking charge and pioneering the way ahead. Others naturally follow you. Now is the time to display your experience and expertise, to showcase your thoughts for the future, and to paint a vision of what’s possible that is so exciting that you’re put in charge of making it happen! Pitch, manifest, propose, apply. The power is with you.
VIRGO: THE STAR
Virgo, what a beautiful card to receive on a New Moon week! The Star is a wish come true, a dream to manifest, a hope that can be yours IRL. It’s time to believe in your daydreams, take them seriously, and make overt steps in their direction. The Universe is ready, willing, and able to make your dreams come true. Don’t hang back or think small. Think big! The higher you aim, the better the outcome. This eclipse New Moon is going to be a special one for you.
LIBRA: THE FOOL
The Fool is the tarot’s first card and therefore its patron saint of new beginnings. It also represents Spring, so it’s a timely invitation to embark upon a new, exciting journey or quest. It’s also a New Moon week which reinforces the cosmos urging you to turn the page and start afresh. Don’t overthink this new outing. Don’t talk yourself out of it. Don’t think you need ALL of the answers or some kind of long-term strategy. You just need the courage to take the first step, and the rest of it will unfold from there.
SCORPIO: SEVEN OF CUPS
Engage with your psychic ability this week, Scorpio. You know what I’m talking about! You possess a strong and deep intuition about things which might happen in the future, or what people really think or feel, or the history or emotion attached to certain objects or spaces. The Seven of Cups invites you to go full woo woo. Let whatever is out there manifest in your mind and bring you omens, signs, messages, visions, and ideas. This is a very special gift. It’s time to admit you have it and learn to walk alongside it.
SAGITTARIUS: THE WORLD
You are the zodiac’s traveller and free spirit. The World card can literally predict international or even exciting national travel plans and itineraries. Where do you want to go? What intrigues you? Life’s short, so get busy seeing and doing the things that inspire you, Sagittarius, because that is your life’s destiny—to explore! The World can also mean the end of one adventure is coming and, if you plan it right, you can neatly segue that ending into a wonderful new beginning. Life cycle management!
CAPRICORN: THE EMPEROR
The Emperor is a boss card about leadership, authority, strength, purpose, and taking control of things to get what you want as the outcome. Sometimes you have to, ya know? Sometimes a job worth doing is best done solo. And you embrace that ethic, you like taking control of things, and you have very high standards so you prefer doing the work yourself too. Don’t put yourself into a corner though, Cap. Don’t try and do too much or do things that others are better placed to do. A co-ordinated effort will get you further faster and achieve more support and buy-in along the way. Collaborate where it’s useful and necessary. So then you can focus on what YOU do best.
AQUARIUS: ACE OF CUPS
A magical new relationship is coming your way this week, Aquarius. A love at first sight moment, a birth, a new pet, a friendship that will last a lifetime, a creative collaboration that makes both your fortunes! So, look out for folk you immediately connect with and feel a kinship with. Be welcoming and open-minded. Be friendly and outgoing. Someone life-changing is going to walk through the door this week! Look out especially for Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces).
PISCES: THE LOVERS
Major moon phases and eclipses get you riled up (your sign’s tarot card is The Moon, so it affects you deeply). The Lovers sees your emotions heightened, your sensitivity amplified, and your feelings all stirred up. Be patient and compassionate with yourself this week. Don’t overdo it, put pressure on yourself, or think you need to have all of the answers or make important decisions. Let things slide for seven days. Wait and see. Let your mood settle down before doing anything major.
