What to Buy From the 2015 CFDA Award Winners
On Monday night, the fashion industry’s top players including Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Betsey Johnson, Joseph Altuzarra, and Diane von Furstenberg turned out en mass to attend the 2015 CFDA Awards at Lincoln Center. Taking home the top prizes were Tom Ford (Menswear Designer of the Year), Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of The Row (Womenswear Designer of the Year), and Tabitha Simmons (Accessory Designer of the Year). There were also the Swarovski Awards for Emerging Designers that went to Shayne Oliver of Hood By Air, Rosie Assoulin, and Mansur Gavriel’s Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel. While many of these designer collections can set you back a pretty penny, there are certainly pieces worth investing in that won’t break the bank.
