'Wheel of Fortune' contestant is hilariously devastated: 'I hope nobody watches this'
Wheel of Fortune contestant Aurora De Lucia didn’t hold anything back on Tuesday’s show. The aspiring musical theater writer certainly brought the episode up a notch with her dramatic reactions.
Sporting whimsical pigtails, the college student laughed and groaned louder than any contestant in recent memory. “She's emoting, right here on stage,” host Pat Sajak commented, “Or molting, I'm not sure?”
Aurora played well enough to advance to the bonus round. Unfortunately, she was unable to solve the puzzle and claim the additional $37,000 prize envelope. She groaned loudly and doubled over, leading Pat to quip about her giving birth. “I believe it's twins,” he said.
Aura exclaimed, “I'm a big loser. I hope nobody watches this.” To which Pat replied, “Well, we're hoping they do.”
Fans didn’t know what to make of Aurora’s large reactions. While many thought they were a bit much, others thought it was something right out of a Saturday Night Live sketch.
