'Wheel of Fortune' fans go nuts over super happy contestant: 'Best game show contestant ever'
Wheel of Fortune fans got their fill of excitement on Tuesday night, as contestant Diana Hawkins dazzled on screen. The data analyst from Los Angeles was brimful of energy and brains, which she put to good work solving most of the puzzles.
Host Pat Sajak was taken aback by her boisterous personality, commenting, “You look happy to be here... Like, almost hysterically happy to be here.”
And Dawkins played an almost flawless game. She solved several puzzles and earned $19,850 in regulation play before advancing to the bonus puzzle. But while fans liked her amazing ability to solve puzzles, they loved her personality even more. With many crowning her the greatest contestant ever.

In the bonus round Hawkins needed less than a second to solve the puzzle and win an additional $38,000, which brought her total winnings up to a whopping $57,850.
During the closing credits, Sajak marveled at her game play saying, “You know, and it's a tricky business, because sometimes someone will have a lot of enthusiasm but it kind of gets away in the game playing, but she seemed to feed into that. She played very well.”
