Where to Buy Fabric Face Masks Online
The spread of coronavirus and the risk of COVID-19 has kept entire populations indoors for weeks. But regardless of our best efforts to #StayHome, life still requires venturing out for certain essentials: buying groceries, refilling prescriptions, and even just getting a breath of fresh air. For these excursions, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has issued a recommendation to wear “cloth face coverings” in addition to keeping a six-foot distance from others when outside.
A cloth face covering — which reduces the risk of asymptomatic carriers spreading the disease further — can be anything from a scarf or bandana wrapped around your face to a DIY face mask to a store-bought mask. While fashioning a cloth face covering out of materials already in your home is convenient for many, there are plenty of reasons others prefer to purchase ready-made masks.
RELATED: Fashion Face Masks Are Happening
Since the CDC made its recommendation, non-medical cloth face masks have become difficult to come by; designers and brands that have pivoted production are finding their supplies quickly bought out by shoppers eager to protect themselves and those close to them.
If you’ve found yourself face-to-face with sold-out product pages in your efforts to buy one, we’ve rounded up all of the places you can still find fabric face masks online. Not only do the below brands still have inventory available for purchase or pre-order, they are all also making charitable contributions.
Shop CDC-recommended non-medical face masks below.
