Will give free 'kafan' to COVID victims: Jharkhand CM

·1 min read

A video of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is doing the rounds on social media platforms in which he's apparently making a highly insensitive comment about the people who are dying from COVID-19.

"We are making arrangements to ensure that anyone who dies from coronavirus, their families wouldn't have to buy 'kafan' (shroud). We are providing it free of cost," he is seen as saying.
