Winnie Harlow knows how to work a red carpet — and Monday night was no exception.
The 23-year-old model arrived at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards at the Brooklyn Museum in a navy gown by Tommy Hilfiger.
The one-shoulder metallic gown featured beaded detailing on the waist, as well as a daring thigh-high slit. The gown flaunted Harlow’s toned legs and at times, a flash of hip that didn’t seem to phase the Toronto-born model.
Harlow arrived to the awards with her rumoured beau, Formula One driver, Lewis Hamilton. The two were affectionate as they posed for photographers but have declined to comment on the status of their relationship.
Harlow first shot to fame in 2014 after she appeared on “America’s Next Top Model,” where she was celebrated for representing people with vitiligo – a condition which causes the skin to stop producing melanin, resulting in light patches.
Despite having vitiligo, Harlow refuses to be defined by her skin and recently posted a statement to Instagram.
“I’m not a ‘vitiligo sufferer’ I’m not a ‘vitiligo model.’ I am Winnie. I am a model. And I happen to have vitiligo,” she said. “Stop putting these titles on me or anyone else.”
