Winter blues? These morning routine tips can help

The end of January is creeping up which means we're inching closer to warmer weather (ah, wishful thinking), morning sun and spring. You may just be willing happy, warm thoughts to get through the next couple of months, but you can change your day simply by how you choose to wake up in the morning. You may find yourself jumping out of bed after hitting snooze multiple times, filling your thermal mug with coffee and racing out the door with wet hair each day, leaving your morning feeling rushed and stressful.

It is believed that people are most productive in the morning — and by setting a routine for each day, you are prolonging your productivity and taking advantage of a daily fresh start. Winter can be draining, making the days feel longer and our moods less optimistic — but by following a routine each morning you're allowing yourself to take the time to reflect and set intentions for the day. While winter won't be going away anytime soon, these morning routine tips will help you start the day on the right foot.
