Winter Weather Has Hit New York and Irina Shayk Is Dressing the Part in a Big Black Puffer Jacket
Irina Shayk was bundled up warm but looked effortlessly cool in a monochromatic black Winter ‘fit for an afternoon outing in New York City.
The model stepped out looking like a NYC-native in a big black puffer jacket—though hers had a luxe twist in the form of fur shoulder details. She paired the coat with a black fringe scarf tied around her neck and cozy black leggings. Shayk elevated her street style look with black leather knee-high boots, which featured a tall heel, and accessorized with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and oversized silver hoop earrings. She kept her makeup minimal and wore her chocolate-brown hair down and parted in the middle.
Shayk had some company for her stroll, as she held her dog in her left arm.
Last week, Shayk enjoyed a fashionable girls’ night out with pal Emily Ratajkowski. The two sat courtside in Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks take on, and ultimately win against, the Miami Heat. For the occasion, Shayk donned the same great boots, oversized silver hoops, and big black puffer, however, underneath she was sporting something delicate and sultry. In a hot summer to winter transition outfit, Shayk completed her look with a plunging silk dress that featured a crisscross neckline and black lace detailing along the hem.
Shayk, who shares a six-year-old daughter named Lea De Seine with ex Bradley Cooper, spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about motherhood and beauty for her May cover story and gave EmRata a shout-out while discussing self-love as a mother.
“Sometimes I wake up and I feel cute and I think, ‘Oh, should I put these pictures out on social media?’ One voice says, ‘Oh, but people will say, “You’re a mother,”’ she said. “And I’m like, ‘But what does it mean?’ My example is Emily Ratajkowski. She’s always hot and feminine and all about loving your body. Maybe I’m not so vocal about it, but I’m totally on the same wavelength: You’re a mother, but it doesn’t mean you cannot go outside in a tiny little skirt or put a hot picture up.”
