Once a pretty woman, always a pretty woman!

Viewers were surprised when Julia Roberts appeared on stage to present the final award of the night at the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday. The Oscar winner injected serious star-power into the evening’s ceremony, as she presented the award for Best Picture to “Green Book,” and without a formal host to do the honours, closed out the show.

“Well apparently that wraps up the 91st Academy Awards,” Roberts told the crowd with her signature mega-watt smile. “I would like to say congratulations to all the nominees, and goodnight to Bradley Cooper’s mother and my children…And thank you for watching!”

The 51-year-old may not have walked the red carpet, but had one of the best looks of the night, opting for a one-shouldered hot pink gown by Elie Saab.

Fans of the A-lister took to Twitter to rave about the stars look, with many saying Roberts’s appearance stole the show in an otherwise lacklustre broadcast.

“Julia Roberts is so beautiful it’s dumb,” one awestruck fan tweeted.

Another summarized the entire three hour broadcast by simply writing, “Gaga looked great. Bette Midler was insanely good! Julia Roberts looked hella fine. That’s basically all you need to know.

Even the hard-to-please curmudgeon Piers Morgan was a fan of Roberts’s look!
