The recent drop in temperatures may have you dreaming of mid-winter getaways to your favourite sunny destinations — and, in turn, shopping for warm-weather staples.
Une Piece is the company behind, what they’re calling, the “world’s most flattering” swimsuit. The Australian brand sells a range of swimwear inspired by the south of France. Their most recent collection, called Cap d’Ail, is supposed to include bathing suits that look good on every body type.
The new design is a one piece with long lines that contour your curves. The piece promises to flatter most body shapes, with strategic ruching and twists to complement a variety of body types.
“We are passionate about challenging the sometimes narrow representation of beauty in the fashion industry,” Une Piece Founder Carly Brown told the Daily Mail.
Brown’s claim that this suit is the most flattering in the world doesn’t come lightly. Brown says her design team put in a lot of research on the topic, even interviewing women about what makes them feel most confident poolside.
The classic one piece will come in three twist styles: halter, rashie and surf rashie. With exhaustive research into patterns and print, Brown is proud to offer the new line to her shoppers.
“We had a lot of our customers asking for more styles and prints, so we got to work and are thrilled to share these new iconic pieces for SS 17/18,” she said.
The structured swimsuits will be released in five colours and three different prints.
Brown says the idea for a swim line came to her at Christmas of 2015 when she was struggling to find a bathing suit for vacation. This year’s Cap d’Ail line was designed to highlight an elegant silhouette, making women feel more confident in their own body.
If the brand sounds familiar it’s because Brown and her team know their stuff – Une Piece is the same line that designed the “world’s sexiest rashie” last year, which sold out almost immediately.
