WWE Hall of Famer Edge is now All Elite.

After weeks of rumours, Edge, who will be known as Adam Copeland, made his AEW debut at the end of Sunday's (October 1) WrestleDream pay-per-view.

Copeland appeared after his former tag team partner Christian Cage defeated Darby Allin in a two-out-of-three-falls match for the TNT Championship.

Allin was suffering a beat down from Christian, Luchasaurus, and the newly turned heel Nick Wayne, with Sting attempting to make the save. But with the babyfaces outnumbered, Copeland appeared to make the save and confront his former partner.

While Copeland is unable to use his WWE name, he will still be known as the 'Rated R Superstar' in AEW, as well as having his iconic 'Metalingus' theme.

Copeland's WWE contract expired in September, with his last match taking place in August, where he defeated Sheamus in Toronto.

Following his debut, Copeland was officially made 'All Elite' by AEW CEO Tony Khan, who wrote on X: 'Welcome to the @AEW team! "Rated R Superstar" Adam Copeland @EdgeRatedR is ALL ELITE!'

Copeland later posted a lengthy message to fans on X, where he addressed the end of his WWE career.

'I love WWE and appreciate everything the company did for me,' Copeland wrote. 'Always have, always will. They put me on the map, gave me amazing opportunities and through hard work on both ends I've been supplied with a wonderful life.

'Sometimes relationships just grow apart and I feel the WWE and I have just outgrown each other. I wanted to do more. They didn’t have much more for me to do. Simple as that. And that’s OK. I’ll still be watching and still be supporting all of my friends there.'

Copeland ended by telling fans: 'This ride isn’t over just yet. Just try to have fun, like it should be. Because trust me, I’ll be having fun every time I’m out there in an AEW ring. Let’s go!'
