One of the most exciting parts about the arrival of a new royal baby is the name reveal. The royal family has a long and proud tradition of choosing names that are historically significant to the lineage (most recently, Harry and Meghan named their baby daughter Lilibet, after Queen Elizabeth's childhood nickname) but of course, not all royals choose to go this route. Zara Tindall, the Queen's granddaughter, shared a fun story about how she chose her youngest daughter's name—and the hilarious reason why she had to rethink her first choice.

Zara and her husband Mark welcomed their second daughter, Lena, in 2018. But in a recently resurfaced interview with The Telegraph, she revealed that she originally wanted to name her daughter Elena, but realized that would have big implications for her initials.

"I liked the name Elena," Zara said, in the interview, per Express. "But I didn’t want her initials to be ‘ET’ so she’s Lena." In all fairness, being mistaken for an extraterrestrial on top of being a royal would be a lot to handle.

Lena's full name is Lena Elizabeth Tindall—her middle name, of course, being a tribute to the Queen. The tradition of using Elizabeth as a middle name has been popular throughout several generations of the family: the Queen herself gave Princess Anne, her only daughter, that middle name when she was born in 1950. Since then, three of the Queen's four granddaughters have also been given Elizabeth as a middle name: Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall, Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary, and Lady Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor. Lilbet, though, is the first royal baby to boast the Queen's childhood nickname.
