You can always count on Zoë Kravitz to bring the fierceness in the style department, and at Coach’s 75th-anniversary event on Thursday night in New York City, the actress came to slay. Kravitz turned out and turned heads in a sheer Coach dress, covered in strategically placed patches at the top, protecting her from any unwanted wardrobe malfunctions. Black high-waisted knickers kept the rest of her toned physique obscured.

The platinum-blond singer added a pair of black pointed ankle-strap shoes to the outfit, pulled her box-braided hair back into a one big braid, and wore a pair of silver hoops, which perfectly complemented her fresh-faced makeup look.

It’s definitely a risqué ensemble, but it’s also not unlike outfits Kravitz has worn multiple times in the past. Like at the 2015 Met Gala, where she flaunted a gown designed by Alexander Wang made of chain mail.

Or on the red carpet a few months later, in a white mesh dress covered in bunches of flowers.

It’s daring to take on the near-naked look, but for someone like Kravitz, who seems to find pushing fashion boundaries almost as natural as breathing, it’s easy.
