Ilma, the second superyacht in the Ritz-Carlton fleet, brings the luxury that the hospitality group is known for to the seas. The ship features 224 suites with sea views and private terraces, accommodating up to 448 guests, which gives everyone more space than your typical stateroom.

The View Suite, for example, features floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and a high-contrast color palette in muted tones that inspire relaxation. Design decisions such as color palettes and materials were inspired by Maltese mythology, a subtle nod to the destinations Ilma sails to. AAD Associates, a London-based architectural and design firm, designed the superyacht interiors with lighting designer DPA to seamlessly connect spaces utilizing contemporary and refined finishes that feel elegant and glam.

Aivan, a Helsinki-based design studio, conceptualized the sleek and refined exterior, which was influenced by private yachts. In addition to having a main pool area with plush lounge chairs, the ship also includes steps that descend directly into the ocean and an infinity pool.

This ship began sailing in September 2024, so you can be one of the first to experience its luxe accommodations and fine dining on itineraries in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Northern Europe. Guests enjoy two new exclusive dining venues, Seta su Ilma, which offers Italian food by Michelin-starred chef Fabio Trabocchi, and The Beach House, an open-air restaurant serving Pan-Latin and Caribbean cuisine in collaboration with chef Michael Mina.
