The 10 Most Expensive Charter Yachts on the High Seas
As superyachts continue to grow in length and volume, and the list of amenities jumps with them, the cost to charter some of the most impressive vessels on the water is also spiraling. Some of the builders are the usual suspects, including Lürssen, Benetti, and Feadship, but there are others such as Freire and Olympic Yachts that have also built several of the standout gigayachts.
The top three most expensive yachts on the charter market in 2025 command a weekly rate of about $3.12 million. That’s enough to buy Oscar-winning actor Emma Stone’s L.A. mansion or six Maserati MC20s.

The Previously Sanctioned 446-Foot Gigayacht 'Flying Fox' Returns to the Charter Market
Big prices don’t seem to bother big hitters, like when Beyoncé and Jay-Z chartered Flying Fox in 2021 as it commanded an even more breathtaking weekly rate of around $4.4 million (before U.S. sanctions took it off the market for two years). Other high-profile charterers include basketball legend Michael Jordan, who was spotted stepping on board O’Pari which has a $1.1 million weekly charter price, and fellow NBA player Magic Johnson, whose penchant for spending time with his family has prompted him to charter the 295-foot Phoenix 2 every year for a $1.5 million per week. Note that many of the weekly prices below originate in Euros, so could fluctuate with the exchange rates.
Beyond the celebs, the world’s most expensive charter vessels are finding no shortage of guests. Most are reporting healthy bookings for the spring and summer. With that said, here are the 10 most expensive yachts for charter in 2025.

‘Renaissance,’ 367 Feet, Freire
Renaissance kicks off the first of three yachts on this list that carry the hefty weekly charter price of $3.1 million. Available from Burgess, it’s also one of only two vessels in the top 10 that can accommodate a whopping 36 guests, though it’s generous allocation of 45 crew means it sleeps the most people on board. With open-air dining on five decks, a double-height dining room on the main deck, an alfresco sushi bar, and a special ‘chef’s table’ experience, food features high on the amenities list. There’s also an entire deck devoted to fitness, a private owner’s deck, and an armada of all the latest water toys.

‘Flying Fox,’ 446 Feet, Lürssen
The 446-foot Flying Fox is the first of five Lürssen-built yachts to feature on this list and the largest yacht available on the charter market via Bluewater Yachting. Key features of the Espen Øino-designed exterior include a 3.7-foot swimming pool that runs athwartship on the main aft deck—the largest ever found on board a yacht—and a two-decked spa with a cryosauna, hammam, and relaxation room with a fold-down balcony at sea level. A diving center, decompression chamber, and two helipads make it an equally well-equipped platform for all the adventure.
Weekly base charter price: About $3.12 million
‘Kismet,’ 400 Feet, Lürssen
Launched in 2024, Kismet (meaning fate or destiny) is the newest yacht on this list, available through Cecil Wright & Partners. Commissioned by sports mogul and yacht enthusiast Shahid Khan, the Reymond Langton–designed vessel enjoys an elaborate array of interior features, including an infinity “hall of mirrors” on the main deck, a glass corridor walk-through of the hybrid engines, and a Versailles-inspired Champagne bar. There’s also a yoga studio with its own juice bar and an underwater “Nemo” lounge that doubles as an indoor cinema to add a little panache.
Weekly base charter price: About $3.1 million
‘Ahpo,’ 377 Feet, Lürssen
Often found occupying one of the largest berths at Monaco, the 377-foot Ahpo was designed for family cruising. It’s available for charter through Edmiston. Key features include a nature-inspired spa, a large sundeck pool, a duplex primary suite, and a touch-and-go helicopter. Music maestros will also appreciate the Steinway piano in the main deck lounge. When chartering in summer, guests have the use of a Wajer chase tender, which gets swapped out in winter for a Formula 500 Super Sport Crossover tender.
Weekly base charter price: About $2.7 million
‘Octopus,’ 413 Feet, Lürssen
Octopus is the ultimate explorer yacht with a renowned owner back story. Commissioned by Paul Allen in 2003, it remained famously private until it hit the charter market under new ownership in January 2022. Now it’s available through Big Blue Expeditions. It has famously circumnavigated the world many times, often undertaking scientific and philanthropic endeavors. One particularly noteworthy expedition includes the discovery of the sunken Japanese battleship Musashi in the deep waters of the Philippines in 2015. Now charter guests can have a slice of the action, with a 2025 charter itinerary that starts in Antarctica before heading to French Polynesia and into southeast Asia.
Weekly base charter price: About $2.2 million
‘Dream,’ 350 Feet, Olympic Yachts
Despite being the oldest yacht on the list, built in 1997, Dream holds its own on the charter market via broker Hill Robinson. This is partly because of its onboard accommodations, comprising 22 suites—15 doubles, six twins, and a 2,798-square-foot primary stateroom on the dedicated owner’s deck with two ensuite bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, study space, and a private dining room. There’s also a cinema, two swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art AV system installed throughout the yacht.
Weekly base charter price: About $2.08 million
‘Ije,’ 354 Feet, Benetti
Considered the flagship yacht of Benetti’s custom-built fleet, Ije enjoys family-styled exterior deck areas with lounging and dining on every level, and an interior decked out in Loro Piana decor, along with textured linens, cashmeres, and natural fabrics that brings the outdoors in. The main salon opens on all four sides using automated full-height sliding doors and glass panels. But it’s the light-filled primary ensuite with a pink marble freestanding bathtub and matching vanity unit that really sets it apart. Available through Royal Yacht International, the yacht has 30 crew that pamper just 12 guests, ensuring that top-tier service is part of the package.
Weekly base charter price: About $1.87 million
‘Sophia,’ 318 feet, Feadship
Feadship’s Sophia already scooped awards when it delivered in 2018, but following a 2022 refit the yacht has reached new heights. A versatile games deck—configured to accommodate paddle, basketball, or football—makes it a stand-out option for groups of friends looking to charter together (which can be arranged via Edmiston). There’s also a glass-bottom swimming pool, sea-level beach club, sundeck gym, and dedicated wellness center. Among the 32 crew are three chefs who serve up fresh feasts every day, including rustic delights from the wood-fired pizza oven and charcoal barbecue.
Weekly base charter price: About $1.76 million
‘Lady S,’ 305 Feet, Feadship
In addition to being the third yacht on the list managed by Edmiston, Lady S more than earns its seven-figure weekly charter price. Guests can arrive by helicopter, play a quick game of badminton or volleyball, and work up a sweat in the gym before hitting the hammam and ice plunge pool. Once the sun sets, the IMAX Dolby cinema (the first to be installed on a superyacht) or indoor nightclub, with an interactive floor, takes over. This Feadship has the biggest humble brag on this list—the largest hidden outdoor C SEED TV in the world, measuring a whopping 201 inches.
Weekly base charter price: About $1.66 million
‘CC-Summer,’ 312 Feet, Lürssen
If the self-playing Steinway piano in the upper deck salon doesn’t thrill charter guests, then the primary suite and three VIPs will. Designed specifically for private charters, CC-Summer abolishes the squabble over rooms, which are all generously proportioned. It’s available through Moran Yacht & Ship. The dining options follow suit, with a casual arrangement that includes informal alfresco dining, a fire pit, and Teppanyaki bar. There’s also a main deck swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, and a beach club spa.
