10-year-old McKenna Grace rules the red carpet in chic black suit

Child actress McKenna Grace is as brilliant as they come. Not only does the 10-year-old take the leading role in the new drama film “Gifted” — but she holds a pretty sophisticated style resume, too.

This past Thursday, she wore a black suit decorated with flowers over a white collared shirt and black tie while attending the New York pre-screening of her new film. April 12 will see McKenna star alongside Chris Evans and Octavia Spencer where she plays a 7-year-old math prodigy raised by her uncle.

“McKenna’s style can be best described as Jackie O in never-never land,” McKenna’s stylist, Enrique Melendez, tells Yahoo Style. “We play with adult styles and silhouettes but make them age-appropriate with Peter Pan collars, frilly socks, and glittery heels.”

McKenna’s outfit, a floral appliqué suit by Love Made Love, was a long-standing vision for Melendez, and fortunately, the actress agreed. “She was like, ‘I really want to wear a suit at some point,’” Melendez shares, “and I pulled it out, and it was instantaneously a hit.”
