41 Delicious Dinners That Prove You Can Make Almost Anything On A Sheet Pan
We’re always singing the praises of a one-pan dinner (we even wrote a cookbook about it). A lot of the time, that means a meal that comes together all in one pot or skillet, but not always. Sometimes (the BEST times, tbh), it means one that comes together all on one sheet pan. Why the best, you ask? Because all you have to do is toss everything into the oven, then go and relax. Thanks to these 41 easy sheet-pan dinners, when that oven timer dings, you’ve got your sides AND main done all at once (and with WAY less dishes). On busy weeknights, we can’t think of anything better.
You can also make almost anything on a sheet pan, from proteins to pasta. Craving chicken? Check out our za'atar sheet-pan chicken, our sheet-pan tikka masala, or our sheet-pan harissa chicken & sweet potatoes. More of a seafood fan? Our sheet-pan garlicky shrimp & veggies, our baked salmon, our sheet-pan shrimp boil, and our garlic butter salmon & asparagus are for you. Dying for some red meat? Our sheet-pan pork chops with apples and our sheet-pan balsamic steak & potatoes are way easier to make than trying to get the perfect sear on a grill pan or on the stove.
We’ve even got some recipes here that are great for game night, or just a night you want to eat in front of the tv (we’ve ALL been there). For those times, our crispy sheet-pan black bean tacos, our sheet-pan green chile chicken nachos, or our sheet-pan chicken fajitas are the best.
The greatest thing about all these recipes? They are extremely versatile. Take the sauce from one, swap it into another, and use whatever veggies you’ve got around. These are supposed to take a load off you, so make them work with what you got.
Za'atar Sheet-Pan Chicken
Bone-in chicken thighs, baby potatoes, broccoli, and red onion are all tossed in a simple olive oil, lemon juice, and za’atar marinade, then roasted to crispy, schmaltzy perfection. To kick it up another notch, we’re drizzling it all in a creamy tahini sauce to finish it off. 😍

Sheet Pan Bibimbap
Though traditionally each individual item would be cooked separately, then placed on a fluffy bowl of white rice, by using a sheet tray, we're eliminating half that work. Sheet-Pan Italian Subs
Overlapping the bread slices means you can fit more onto the sheet pan, and don’t worry—the melty Provolone and pressing these down (sort of like a massive DIY panini press) makes sure they still hold together. Sheet-Pan Burrata Caprese Gnocchi
This is one of our favorite ways to prepare gnocchi. Roasting gives the pasta a slightly browned exterior while still maintaining a pillowy, chewy interior. To accompany the gnocchi, we are utilizing the flavors of a cCaprese salad without relying on the seasonality of tomatoes. Enter beautiful and perfectly sweet bell peppers.

Sheet-Pan Panzanella
Rather than toast the bread cubes on their own for this summery salad, you'll roast them alongside tomatoes, onion, and garlic. The tomatoes burst as they roast, mixing their juices with the bread and fresh arugula. The combination of roasted tomatoes, toasted bread coated with Parmesan, fragrant garlic, and mozzarella ends up tasting like pizza. Yum!
