This $14 Million Villa in Turks and Caicos Is Tucked Into an Aman Resort

Turks and Caicos, known for its powdery, white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and luxury resorts, offers some of the Caribbean’s most discreet and sought-after beachside real estate, and Amanyara, an ultra-uxury resort by Aman on the western shores of Providenciales, has some of the island chain’s most expensive private residences that make you feel like you’re permanently living at the five-star resort. In addition to the hotel complex, the fortified tropical enclave also has 20 private homes ranging from $11 million to more than $20 million.

The latest residential offering at Amanyara, the first to be publicly for sale in more than three years, is Villa 16, priced at $14 million. Designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy, known for world-class hospitality projects for brands like Four Seasons and One&Only, the 12,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor retreat was built in 2006.

The beachside resort is nestled within the Northwest Point Marine National Park and is ensconced by native island vegetation. Aman is known for its properties that embrace and respect the natural environment, while also celebrating local culture and and traditions. Villa 16 has five bedrooms and five full bathrooms spread throughout five detached guest pavilions. Each bedroom is like its own private hotel room, but are seamlessly connected via winding pathways flanked by tropical foliage and vibrant flowers. The private pavilions each have sliding glass doors that open to private decks, vaulted wood ceilings, and spa-like bathrooms with freestanding soaking tubs.

Centering the property are the expansive common areas, which prioritize indoor-outdoor living. There’s a breezy living room with soaring ceilings and doors on every side that open to covered patios with Ipe decking. Other rooms include a dedicated formal dining room and kitchen. You might never have to leave the privacy of your residence, as there are two volcanic stone pools. One of the pools looks akin to a small lake and every pavilion overlooks the water. Another pool is located off the living space. There’s also a covered outdoor gazebo.

Should you want to venture outside of the residence, residents have complete access to Amanyara’s resort amenities. The resort is surrounded by an 18,000-acre nature reserve and is fronted by a large stretch of sandy beach. There are several residences, a Nature Discovery Center, watersports, tennis courts, a fitness center, clubhouse, world-class soccer pitch, relaxation pavilion, yoga sala and pool, and a Pilates and boxing studio. There’s also a spa with four treatment rooms. It’s listed by Muffy Ward and Sean O’Neill of The Agency Turks and Caicos.
