16 Totally Mind-Bending Photos That'll Confuse You Into Oblivion
Here we are again with another set of mind-scrambling images from Reddit's r/confusing_perspective thread! Here are the most confusing images we found in the second week of January 2025:
1.Somebody tell us how this person's daughter is laying under these covers. (Hint, that's a fluffy pillow, not her head.)
Here's a good explaination: "I think she is laying on her back, upper body twisted to the left, and her head is under the pillow (not the fuzzy ball pillow but the rectangular one). So, if you remove the pillow, you will see the right side of her face. The thing sticking up under the blanket would be her knee."
2.Why does this man look like a giant standing above his girlfriend?
He is actually a floor above her, standing on a glass ceiling.
3.Contrary to popular belief, this person is not holding a tiny kindle:
The kindle is on a stand that is further away and her finger is closer to her.
4.This person's legs aren't crossed at all:
I had to stare at this one for a while! So, the cord is tricking you here. It creates a false contour that is her leg. She is really just squatting with her knees together, knock-kneed.
5.How on earth are these shoes floating?!
There is a wooden shelf under them, you just can't see it since the shoes are longer than it.
6.And how in the heck is there a bookshelf in the middle of this parking lot?
The window is reflecting the bookshelf inside the room; it is not outside. And the reflection of the phone makes it look like there's a tall hedge across the street!
7.Is this cat scratch concave or convex?
According to the original poster, it is convex (or raised).
8.This is not a wig. I'll give you a cookie if you can find the head to this dog:
I am actually not sure but it does look like an ear in the lower left-hand side. Tell us where you think its head is in the comments!
9.Okay, which building is closer?
The left! You can tell because the windows are bigger.
10.This is not the moon. What is it?
It is a circuloar patch of condensation on a skylight.
11.And this man is not standing on the tippy top of a ladder:
He is one the street, but the ladder is closer to the person who took the photo. This gives the illusion he is on top of the ladder.
12.Now, tell us, is this phone transparent?
Nope! The case just perfectly matches the table.
13.What is going on with this bird?
It is crouched and looking straight ahead, but its blue color blends with the background, making it look like it has some sort of fur hat floating around it.
14.How did this pineapple get to be life-sized?
It is just regular sized — and in a doll house!
15.How are these blinds wrapping around this wall?
It is just the light casting through from blinds on the opposite wall. You are looking at a wall with no blinds at all!
16.And, finally, what in the ghost is going on here?
She's just shaking out a sheet, don't fret.
