'1923' Star Harrison Ford and Wife Calista Flockhart Made a Rare Red Carpet Appearance
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart walked the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards, and, after 13 years of marriage, the celebrity couple still has the ability to make heads turn.
Since first meeting in 2002 at the Golden Gloves, Calista has mostly stepped away from acting to focus on raising their son, Liam. After skipping the Golden Globes, she was on hand to watch Harrison accept the award for career achievement, and it was an emotional moment for both of them.
The star of 1923, Shrinking, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and countless other shows and movies was welcomed to the stage with a standing ovation and was visibly emotional during his speech, saying, "I feel enormously lucky and happy for this honor, and I appreciate it very much." He went on to thank Calista: "I want to thank my lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, who supports me when I need a lot of support, and I need a lot of support." Calista was shown smiling in the audience with tears in her eyes.
The couple looked stunning for their red carpet appearance. Harrison went with a classic tuxedo, living up to his "smoke show" status, as dubbed by Critics Choice host Chelsea Handler during her monologue. Calista wore a floor-length pink gown covered with red roses. The flattering dress features a boat neck silhouette and oversize bow at the waist. She paired the look with dramatic transparent opera-length gloves.
Fans will be excited to know that we're likely to see these two walking more red carpets, as Calista is starring as Lee Radziwill in FX's anthology series, FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans, which will be premiering on January 31.
