Before 1923, Julia Schlaepfer appeared in shows like Madam Secretary, American Horror Stories, and The Politician, but 1923 is certainly her break-out role.
Julia stars as free-spirit Alex, who embarks on a whirlwind (and worldwide) romance with Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar). Their passionate love story takes them from Africa to Europe and on a harrowing journey to Montana, where Spencer is expected to save the family ranch. Their journey is the heart of 1923, and season 1 ends on a truly heart-wrenching cliffhanger for the couple.
We'll see more of Alex and Spencer's story when 1923 returns for a second season. While the show is on hiatus, Julia has had some truly jaw-dropping fashion moments.
