Attention Target shoppers! If you snagged a Vivitar Blender Bottle either in-store or online between December 2024 and January 2025, take caution. The handy mini blender has been recalled because the blades can continue spinning even if the bottle attachment is not fastened, "posing a laceration hazard," as the recall states. Protect those precious digits!

Which Product Has Been Recalled?

  • Vivitar Blender Bottles made of clear plastic with a white plastic base and white top.

  • "ITEM: ES15-BB-TA" and "MID #5220824" are printed on a sticker located under the white plastic base of the bottle. "MID #5220824" is also stamped on the underside of the white plastic base.

  • The affected product was sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from December 2024 through January 2025.

What Should I Do If I Have The Product?

If you're one of the unlucky people who've purchased the $5 product, the company urges you to reach out for instructions on how to receive a full refund in the form of a $5 Target gift card or a check, along with a pre-paid return shipping label to ship it back to the company. "Consumers should not return the recalled units to Target stores," the parent company, Sakar states. Instead, you will need to mail it in as instructed.

While personal blenders can be a godsend for singles on the go looking to get their protein shake fix, we don't want any White Lotus-style mistakes happening in the kitchen, so take heed and make sure to check your blender for any recalls (and always make sure it's clean before whipping up your next smoothie).
