The Simpsons: Tapped Out Whacking Day guide
As we reported earlier, a new content update has just gone live for The Simpsons: Tapped Out, but where do you begin? Well, before you can really get started on the new content, you'll have to send Homer and Lisa out on a 24 hour quest each. Lisa's task is titled "Make Lisa Do Next Week's Homework", and Homer's is called "Send Homer on a Snake Hunt!"
Once Whacking Day itself has begun in earnest, you'll need to enter something known as Baton Mode but tapping on the new icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. From here, simply tap on the snakes you see in order to earn Snake Points and also snake eggs. These eggs can be placed in your friends' towns so that they hatch - and this is a good time to fill up your friend list with active users, so you can benefit from their eggs too.
Some of these eggs will reward the tapper with Donuts, but those Snake Points are important for claiming event prizes too. Here's a complete list of all the content you can pick up in the new update using both of these currencies.
