The 23 Best Nail Looks From New York Fashion Week
Including multicolored French tips, dipped metallics and delightful miniature renderings of snack foods.
New York Fashion Week's Fall 2023 season offered a whole bunch of memorable moments — with noteworthy nail looks to match. Designers didn't shy away from experimenting with various adornments, techniques and colors when it came to the manicures they chose to complement their collections, and the result is a slew of new nail trends we can't wait to try.
Moody hues reigned supreme, as seen on Rodarte's glossy gothic fairytale-inspired stiletto nails (by Morgan Taylor) and Prabal Gurung's black and burgundy manicures (by Kiss).
Some designers decided to take a high-glam approach: Tia Adeola's models wore embellished lengthened acrylics (by nail artist Marietta Mack) that matched the bold and celebratory collection, while PatBo gave a nod to the '90s It girl by highlighting the beauty of French tips — though the label added a creative edge by incorporating an array of colors. For Alice & Olivia's presentation, Jin Soon Choi created five different nail designs, with a clear standout being her snack-adorned nails, complete with delightful miniature renderings of Doritos and Frosted Flakes.
