1."I met a guy at my place of employment. We dated for a week, then he followed me on my vacation to Cuba. He was at my house every weekend (usually at least four days). We also went on a vacation to Las Vegas. He left my place once to go to the hospital in his town to welcome his niece into the world. Years go by — there are anniversary flowers and cards, and another vacation with my kids. Then bam: there are 53 messages from some woman!!! He played it off as her flirting, and he wanted 'nothing to do with her.' I did my own digging on social media and found out the truth. His 'niece' was actually his daughter, and his 'sister' was his wife of 21 years. His 'mother' was his mother-in-law, and his 'mom’s' house was his. He renovated his mom’s house with money he made from defrauding the company he worked for. He wasted six years of my life with his double life!!! I was gaslit and love-bombed. Never again."

2."My husband was cheating on me with one of my friends. She was getting married, and we RSVPed 'yes' to the wedding. But then suddenly he got a headache, and we didn’t go. I became suspicious. One night, only two months later, he called and said he was working late. I drove around and found his car parked next to her car in a local hotel. I called the hotel, connected to his room, and told him we were done. He said they weren't having sex — they were just doing cocaine, which I objected to. I left, and a few months later, we met to do our taxes. He begged me to come back. I had heard my friend was pregnant with his child. When I asked him about it, he said he didn’t care about her or the baby. That was the moment I knew I needed to move on. They got married, and because we are in the same business, I heard many stories that he continued to cheat on her. They deserve each other. My life is so much better without him now."

3."I had been talking to this guy for months. He was so sweet and genuinely attractive. When we were officially dating, I suspected something was off and that he might be cheating on me. One day, when he got home from the gym and was in the shower, his phone was on our bed, blowing up with text messages. I opened it, and it turned out he was very much cheating on me with a man (the man being my cousin who went to the same gym as my boyfriend)."

4."The first time I caught my ex cheating was when he had me pick the person up. He said she was a 'cousin' and they were going to hang out. Knowing he planned to cheat and/or already cheated, I acted like I didn’t know what was happening and went on about my day. Too stunned to feel pain and hurt, I was unable to express my emotions. My phone rang, and it was his number on my screen. Thinking it was him, I picked up. Turns out the girl called me from his phone, asking me if I wanted to hang out with them. My first emotion was anger, and it was expressed in an eerie, calm manner with a low voice and laugh."

"I kept talking in circles, repeating the same question before I told her that I knew she slept with him. I knew he put her up to to calling me asking an even more stupid question, and she was stupid for going through with it. I didn’t talk to him for two weeks until his mother called me when she needed help with something.

During our conversation, she told me she knew what happened, that he cheated, and she apologized for his actions. When I dropped her off at home, I walked into the house, and as I was about to leave, I felt someone's hands behind me. It was him, excited to see me with a smile on his face.

In a cold tone, I politely explained that I didn’t care if he wanted to see me and that I knew he cheated. I also said we had nothing to talk about but the fact that he cheated and lied to me. He admitted it in not so many words, and I took him back.

He cheated again several years later, which I found out about on social media. When I confronted him, he said it was a 'social media game' where you pretend to be in a relationship with someone when you're not. At that point, I gave him my ring back. Cheat on me once, shame on you. Cheat on me twice and post it on social media, then GET OUT."

5."One night, he borrowed my cell phone (his was broken) to go have a boy's night with his best friend. When he came to get me at the end of the night and returned my phone, he left his Facebook on with all the proof. Not only was he trying to hook up with 10 different women that night, but he was also texting my friends from my contacts! We argued on the way home and hit a curb so hard that both tires on my side went flat. I was only 17, so I 'stupidly' kept forgiving him. He went home for Thanksgiving, and his ex-girlfriend posted proof of him messaging her on the post I made making fun of the birthday cake I made him."

"Then, the big time right after was my first Halloween being drunk. I got alcohol poisoning, and he left me in his room to go back to the party. An ambulance was called from a third witness.

While I was at the hospital, he returned to his room with my new best friend and came onto her while cleaning my vomit. She was weird with me after that night, and I found out just over a year later.

We were already done by then because a few months prior, he called me another girl's name during the deed, and it turns out she lived in the room right underneath mine in residence."

6."My husband is currently having an affair that's been going on for 14 years and counting. He started cheating just after six months of marriage. He moved the 'mistress' into his parents' rental property (which both of his parents knew). His parents met her. The two of them would have sex in his parents' house as well. I do know about it, and plan on leaving. Sadly, it just took me a long time to figure out my worth, and also, it was hard to believe that I really did marry Satan himself."

7."My boyfriend was truly Prince Charming the first year of our relationship. Premiere seating at concerts, expensive dinners, and trips around the country — he told me multiple times a day how much he loved me and how lucky he was to be with me. I was his life partner. Then, a year later, I felt 'weird' down below and asked him if he needed to tell me something before I went to the doctor to check it out. Over a video call, he admitted to cheating on me while on a business trip. I lost it and immediately made a doctor's appointment. The next day, I agreed to meet him to talk. After crying and sharing how much this hurt, he promised he had nothing else to hide. I asked to see his phone, and he cursed at me and drove away. I accepted his apology days later, and we rekindled our relationship. A few weeks later through my own detective work, I discovered he slept with at LEAST 20 sex workers around the country while on business trips."

"He had a serious sex addiction with sex workers but wanted to appear 'normal' during family dinners and business parties. This is where I came in.

It turned out his dad and uncle also had been sleeping with sex workers for years, and that’s where he 'picked up this habit.' So this man was okay with knowing his dad slept with sex workers behind his mom's back — how messed up is that?

Eventually, my test came back negative, but it was like the universe sent me a sign that opened me to a world of betrayal and men with too much money and very little morals."

8."My dad cheated on my mom and used his work as an excuse to travel for the affair (the other woman was also married). Then, when I was about to turn five years old, we started the process of moving to be closer to my grandparents. What my mother didn't know was that my dad was setting her up with a support system so he could leave her for the other woman. The other woman actually lived in the same town as my grandparents. My mother caught him sneaking in after six months, and then he moved out. They were divorced by my sixth birthday, and my dad married the other woman two years later. They've been married for over 20 years now. My mom got her happy ending, though. She met a man with a son the same age as my sister and married him when I was in high school, and they've been together 25 years (married for almost 13)."

9."A good friend of our family (he was a few years older than me) bought a house with his fiancée and moved a couple of towns away. He didn’t wanna move to that town, but she was adamant to move there. She would always go on walks alone once they moved. My friend went out and bought her some really fancy running shoes since that was her new hobby. After four months of going on walks that would sometimes last hours, he noticed her shoes still looked brand new. He asked her about it, but she explained she bought a new pair of the exact same shoes. He knew she was lying, so he decided to secretly follow her one day. Needless to say, she wasn’t going on walks. She would walk four houses away and go have sex with someone else."

"When he busted her, she fully admitted to it and said she was tired of driving all the way to see her boyfriend, so she convinced my friend to buy a house down the street to make the affair easier on HER.

She moved out and lived with the new guy four houses down until she cheated on HIM with a new guy two months later."

10."My husband of 26 years started a relationship with a former high school classmate at the age of 53 about 110 miles away from our home. He would go out of town 'for business' two or three times a week for almost four years. When she could not meet with him, he would find women to have sex with on Craigslist. He was always just the sweetest, most thoughtful husband. I had no idea of the depth of his cheating and betrayal until he sent me a text message meant for a Craigslist woman. After he confessed to meeting with women for sex, I started looking at our phone records for the past couple of years. I discovered that he was calling one woman quite a bit, the one he started cheating with initially. We went to therapy, and we stayed married, but we were not close for two years. I felt so betrayed that I had felt so close and in love with him only to find that he was tricking me the entire time."

11."I was cheated on by my ex-boyfriend who (being a year older than me) was in his first year of college while I was in my last year of high school. The girl he cheated on me with was his roommate's girlfriend's roommate, who just happened to have EXACTLY the same name as me. I went to visit him at his college, where he became upset that I was texting a guy friend of mine, grabbed me by the shoulders, and pinned me up against a wall by my neck. Eventually, that night, I found out he had cheated on me with her because her roommate offered to sleep upstairs in her boyfriend's room so I could get away from my abusive boyfriend. As I'm falling asleep, this chick's roommate goes, 'So...I guess you found out.' She told me she only had ever given him a blowjob, even though he had 'begged' to fuck because she was 'too tight.' Thanks, babe."

12."It was a day when life itself seemed to collapse beneath me. That morning, I lost my brother unexpectedly — my best friend and anchor in a chaotic world. My dad lay dying just a few feet away in the ICU, a victim of medical negligence, his body failing from acute kidney failure. In a small-town hospital, the lines between life and death blurred as I shuffled between the ER, where my brother’s life had just ended, and my father’s bedside, where his was slipping away."

"When we finally returned home that evening, I held my husband’s phone in my hands, looking for solace in photos and letters my brother had written me. My mother and I read his final words together, desperate for some shred of comfort. Then, a text notification appeared — a name I recognized, but its context felt wrong.

Thinking it was another condolence, I opened it. What I found instead unraveled the last thread holding my world together. Confused, I scrolled further with my grief-stricken mother beside me.

Message after message, the truth came out: my husband had been cheating on me with his coworker. On the same day I lost my brother, I also lost my marriage. Three weeks later, the unbearable stress caused me to miscarry.

In one month, I lost my brother, my father, my marriage, and the child I was carrying. It was a tidal wave of grief that left me struggling to breathe."

13."We moved back to our home state after I finished a trade school. We were married, and I started a small successful business. Everything was great. She decided she wanted to go back to school to become a mechanical engineer, and she picked one of the best in the country. I worked 80 hours minimum a week to pay for everything. She worked one summer at a friend's restaurant, I wanted her to be best she could with no other things to worry about. So four and a half years later, she is going to graduate in the top one percentile in the country. I can not explain how proud and how much I was in love with her."

"We bought a very nice house, and we went through her job offers, and she began her career. I noticed she was starting to work later. Then, I started to go out of town for a few days monthly.

Well, it wasn't even six months when I was told by friends that she was having an affair with her boss. I did not want to believe it until one morning, an SUV pulled into our driveway. It was the wife of the man she was cheating with, and that was that.

She had hired a private investigator and had pics, phone records, etc. — I have never really recovered from the betrayal."

14."When I was 17, my first girlfriend’s aunt was getting married. I couldn’t find anyone to cover my work shift, so I wasn’t able to attend the wedding. Afterward, my girlfriend didn’t answer my calls, and I had a bad feeling something was up. Turns out, she cheated on me at the wedding with her new cousin by marriage. They even dated for a couple of months until he ended up in jail for drug possession. The fact that her parents were okay with the whole situation still blows my mind. She later became a teen mom, and looking back, I’m so grateful I dodged that bullet."

15."I was cheated on by my ex, who ended up marrying the office assistant. After the divorce, he would still try to flirt with me and touch me when I picked up our son. At the time, my son was young and understandably upset about our separation. But as he grew older, he came to me and said, 'Mom, I understand why you left dad." He revealed that he had seen his dad kissing another woman while his wife was at his sister's house. I couldn't help but think, 'Karma is a bitch.'"

16."I was cheated on by my ex while I was sleeping in the next room. He cheated with some random female his nephew brought over to do cocaine with. His niece and a neighbor told me about it, and I immediately left him."

17."My bio mom's best friend was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. We moved her, her husband, and her daughter in. My mom slept with her husband and got pregnant, so they put my bio mom's friend in a nursing home to die all alone. They did this just so they wouldn't have to deal with the consequences. She was hours away as well, so her daughter, who was 10 at the time, was unable to visit her. She died alone because she went to her 'best friend' for help."

"I don't speak to bio mom anymore. After her friend's death, she showed off her brand new car with the life insurance money (she ended up marrying her friend's husband).

At the time, her dead best friend also had a 19-year-old daughter who was without a home with a toddler. I felt so fucking sick sitting in the car listening to her brag about how she finally got the car she deserved...

Some people are disgusting."

18."I had just got home from deployment and went on an anniversary trip with my ex-wife to Las Vegas. We went to a couple of Cirque du Soleil shows, played some pai gow poked, and got a very fancy dinner. The whole anniversary spared no expense. Later on, she passed out drunk, and her phone was blowing with like 20 messages from an unsaved number. So I looked. They were very romantic and sexual messages and pictures. She had been texting him the whole night. Even while we were at dinner, she told him she wished he was there instead of me. She had basically been messaging him for months during my whole deployment."

"Well I dug deeper, started reading other message chains. I found like nine other affairs with both men and women. She was even a third in a throuple and caused the husband and wife to get divorced because she kept breaking the rules and fucking the husband without the wife there/behind her back."

19."I know a guy whose wife was cheating with his cousin (who was also married). He finds out and decides to have everyone over for dinner. Halfway through dinner, he looks his wife dead in the eyes and says, 'I know you two are fucking' right in front of his cousin and his cousin's wife. Everything blew up and everyone got divorced — the affair partners never got together, either."

21."My friend's mom was in a relationship with a guy for years, and they ended up getting engaged. The guy was a senior director of a company, and he traveled abroad every week for business. The guy had a heart attack, and when my friend's mom turned up at the hospital, his wife and two kids were there also. Turned out he was already married with children and living a double life the whole time. When he went 'abroad' for business, he was simply going back to his actual family."

22."Some girl said she was approved for a class in another really far city after her grades in college were too good. The boyfriend paid all of her travel expenses and gave her his credit card for this trip to this specific event. When she arrived in the other city, she called, saying she wouldn’t come back and would live with this guy she met online and had chatted with for months. The boyfriend went wild, canceled the credit card he gave to her, and found there were never any classes. She just traveled to meet the other guy and still made her boyfriend pay for all her expenses. This happened about 15 years ago. I lost contact with her, but I remember she married the other guy."

23."A guy cheated on me because 'my libido was too high.' Yes, you read that right. He said, 'You wanted sex so much that I needed a break by having more sex to get away from all the sex we were having.'"

24.And finally, "My roommate was sleeping with his boss who was married with a child. She would arrive at our house at 5:30 a.m. (telling her husband she was going to the gym). They'd have a morning shag, shower, get ready, and then go off to work together. They would also do it at work in the bathrooms. On weekends, he would go do his food shopping, and she would coincide her food shopping so they would walk around the store together doing their shopping."

"My friend came home one night and sat my other roommate and me down and told us that within the next six months, she'd be getting a divorce, and they were having a kid together.

Let’s just say she’s still married to her husband, and my friend got a new job."
