Located half a mile from beach access and a mile from Barefoot Landing, there’s lots to do around Barefoot RV Resort. Inside the campground, visitors can check out a splash pad, lazy river, heated pool, playground and even an arcade.

The paved RV sites all have full hook-ups with water, sewer and electric connections, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. Each RV site also has a picnic table and a fire pit. Visitors can also rent one of the campground’s furnished cottages with two queen beds, a pull-out sofa, a full-size kitchen and a covered porch.

Home to stunning lowcountry nature, two trails and the historic Atalaya Castle, Huntington Beach State Park offers educational experiences and outdoor fun. For campers, Huntington Beach offers RV and tent sites.

The park’s RV sites all have complimentary wifi and electricity and water hookups, but only some offer sewer connections. The campground also offers convenient access to restrooms and hot showers.

The park gift shop is open daily to sell supplies and souvenirs, but campers with a sweet tooth should check out Spoonbills Ice Cream. Located adjacent to the South Beach Access, Spoonbills offers hand-scooped ice cream.

WillowTree RV Resort and Campground

Located on the north end of Horry County near the state line, WillowTree RV Resort and Campground offers lake views and outdoor fun. With more than 40 acres of lakes, visitors can swim, fish, kayak, hydrobike and, depending on the season, check out the Splash Zone, an in-lake water park. This year, the Splash Zone will be open until Sept. 22. The campground also features nature trails, sports, a dog park and a playground.

With more than 300 acres of maritime forest, Myrtle Beach State Park is a great place to hike, bike, swim, fish, play and more. The park accommodates tent camping from Easter weekend to Labor Day weekend and Rv camping year-round.

All RV sites have access to wifi, electricity and water hookups and many also have sewer connections. The campground also features restrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities and a store at the ranger station.

Visitors can also rent one of the state park’s six cabins. Each cabin is completely furnished, heated and air-conditioned and comes with complimentary wifi and TV.
