Bobbi Brown shares the eye cream she uses “all over” her face.
The 67-year-old Jones Road Beauty founder uses the brand’s recently launched The Rich Eye Cream.
She says it “restores suppleness, it helps brighten dark spots,” and more.
Bobbi Brown knows the importance of good skin. The founder of Jones Road Beauty often touts the need for SPF and staying hydrated for your best-looking complexion. But, there’s one product, in particular, she recommends to women over 50 (and really, people of all ages): eye cream. The one the 67-year-old beauty pro loves so much, she’s been known to wear it all over her face? (Her words, not mine!) The recently launched Jones Road’s The Rich Eye Cream.
Rich Eye Cream Intense Moisture
The Rich Eye Cream contains niacinamide, which Brown explains “helps give your skin a glow,” “restores suppleness,” and “brightens dark spots.” Ceramides also make it into the jar, to restore the “moisture loss that happens with age and tiredness.” Brown is such a fan of the product that she admits: “I use it all over my face.”
The best eye creams for dark circles boast a slew of brightening and hydrating ingredients. “Often when you have dark circles you’re probably dehydrated,” she tells Prevention. Undereyes, in particular, show what life throws your way. Whether you’re sleep-deprived or need to up your water intake, adding an eye cream to your skincare routine order is a must. As Brown points out, “If you’re dehydrated crépiness comes out. If you use a really good eye cream it’ll hydrate and soften,” the area, she says.
I’ve used this cream, and rich it is. It’s cushiony to the touch and supplies major nourishment to the skin for an ultra-hydrated feel after one application. The brand notes that it can be used as an overnight mask (that you don’t need to wash off) or in the morning as a part of your daytime skincare routine.
Add it as a part of Brown’s four-step method for covering dark circles by following it up with The Neutralizer Pencil when it’s time for some makeup, then The Face Pencil for a fool-proof way to camouflage discoloration beneath your eyes.
