Cartier was the watch of choice for the ladies this week with Jennifer Aniston wearing a Cartier Santos and Chiara Ferragni photographed wearing a Panthère de Cartier.

She was in Switzerland’s Saint Moritz over the holiday season wearing a rose gold Panthère de Cartier set with brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel. Additional features include a diamond-set crown, silvered dial, blued steel sword-shaped hands, a quartz movement, and a water resistance of 30 meters. This timepiece comes with a price tag of $34,400.
David Beckham: Rolex Daytona Chronograph
Soccer superstar David Beckham was spotted in Miami over the holidays at a party with DJ Khaled wearing a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph “Ruby” Reference 126599TRU. Beckham is an ambassador for Tudor, but as Rolex is Tudor’s big brother, we doubt he will get into any trouble! This jewelry timepiece comes in a 40 mm white gold case and is adorned with baguette-cut rubies and diamonds. You won’t find this model in any Rolex boutique as it is only available to the brand’s most special clients. The price tag for this exceptional piece is estimated at over $500.000.
Lionel Messi: Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi was spotted on Instagram this week wearing the discontinued 18-karat white gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Le Mans” Edition. This model was released in 2023 to mark the 100th edition of the famous French endurance car race. The watch comes with a reverse panda dial, a black ceramic tachymeter scale featuring the “100” indication in red, and a movement that has been designed for timing the endurance race with a 24-hour chronograph counter at 9 o’clock that replaces the standard 12-hour counter found in other Daytonas. The timepiece was priced at $51,400 when launched but the price has sky-rocketed since due to its rarity.
50 Cent: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore
American rapper, actor, producer, and entrepreneur 50 Cent attended the grand opening of Caramella at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at the end of 2024 wearing a fully-set Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. This custom 42 mm, 18-karat white gold timepiece is adorned with 474 baguette-cut diamonds on the case, bezel, and bracelet for a total of 47.20 carats. The dial is set with an additional 116 baguette-cut diamonds (7.32 carats). The model was released in 2011 and made as a limited edition of 20 pieces. The current market value of this timepiece is in the region of $1.2 million.
Mark Zuckerberg: Patek Philippe Grand Complication Minute Repeater Tourbillon
Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of META Platforms, was photographed this week wearing yet another new timepiece. Since he discovered a love for fine timepieces in 2024, he has added some serious wristwear to his collection, including models from Patek Philippe, F. P. Journe, De Bethune, and Richard Mille to name a few. His latest acquisition is a Patek Philippe Grand Complication Minute Repeater Tourbillon Reference 5303R, a new grand complication with an open architecture that allows the wearer to see the minute repeater mechanism function on the dial side of the watch. It comes in a 42 mm rose gold case and is priced at $650,000, with models on the secondary market reaching double the price.
Jay Mohr: Rolex Oyster Perpetual
Actor and stand-up comedian Jay Mohr was spotted at a basketball game between the Lakers and the Sacramento Kings at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles this week with his wife Jeanie Buss (who is also the president of the Lakers). On his wrist, we couldn’t help but notice his Rolex Oyster Perpetual timepiece with a bright red coral dial. The collection was released in 2021 with dials also in a choice of yellow, green, turquoise and candy pink. The red dial has now been discontinued, increasing both the rarity and price of this eye-catching model, whose current market value in $15,000.
